Grimm - Season Four

"Grimm" continues to be one of the most reliable and consistent shows on television nowadays. In a world filled with reality shows, one season "event" series, and an overabundance of series that barely have 10 episodes, "Grimm: Season Four" offers up 22 stories which is the show's forte.

Just as reliable as the show itself is Universal's Blu-ray release, filled with high-definition presentations and a slew of bonus features. There's just nothing in the supplement department that stands out from prior Blu-ray's so it's the tried-and-true approach once again with season four.

Here again we get "The Grimm Guide," an interactive look at the creatures that fill the show. If you're brand new to the show, this feature is for you. Skip it if you've been watching all along.

Deleted scenes and a gag reel were on seasons one to three Blu-rays; yes, they're here again.

"A Morphed Reality" goes behind the scenes of "Grimm" and gets the viewer up to speed on the happenings of the fourth season.

A set tour and highlight reels (featuring blurbs from many episodes) round out Universal's fairly generous bonus materials, which complement the stories of Nick the Grimm, Monroe and Rosalee, and the creatures that reside in and around the setting of Portland, Oregon.
