Benham Twins On 'Homosexual Agenda,' Michael Sam

It's been a week since Home & Garden TV officials canceled the Benham twins' reality show, which was scheduled to air in October, over a report that detailed the brothers' anti-gay views, so it only seems appropriate that they now speak to Glenn Beck about the incident.

According Right Wing Watch David and Jason Benham echoed their earlier statements that they believe they were the victims of a "smear campaign" and that the reports claiming they are anti-gay are "complete lies." They claim they do not hate LGBT as individuals, but are against "homosexuality and its agenda that is attacking the nation."

When they spoke with Beck Monday night, the twins once again said they are not against gay people but are in a war with Satan and the demonic forces that want to take down Christianity.

"It's a spiritual fight," Jason Benham said. "From the beginning of time, it was God and there was the Devil and both of them use people for their own purposes."

Jason Benham later added that are not "attacking the homosexual community" because the real problem is "God versus the Devil."

"There is a small minority of people in this world, heterosexual and homosexual, that buy into the idea of this agenda that wants to silence people," he said.

The Benham twins also spoke about Michael Sam, the first openly gay football player to be drafted into the National Football League, and said they have a message for him, the Blaze reports.

"Michael Sam is a talented football player and for that, he should be playing in the NFL," David Benham said, speaking also for his brother. "But ... both heterosexual and homosexual expressions outside of the context of traditional, historic marriage between a man and a woman are not healthy for us as individuals, or for us as a nation. But we eagerly look forward to watching Michael Sam, hopefully, crush Tom Brady in the upcoming football season."

They said their message to the athlete encapsulates their views, saying, "you don't know God" if you "don't have a heart to love other people."

"When you love God, you will love others, but that does not mean you will love all ideas, [and] that does not mean that you will love all actions," David Benham said. "God doesn't love all of my actions, no matter what they are. My heterosexual adulterous longings, at times, he doesn't love that. Those must stop. And it's the same way for any type of action that's outside of the will of God."

The twins made similar comments when speaking with CNN last week.
