Coming into its 6th year, Miami Beach Gay Pride has grown into the largest, two-day event of the year in Miami Beach. So it's safe to say that when it comes to fun in the sun, no one does it like Pride! For the second year in a row, Miami Beach Gay Pride presents a Beach Party featuring top-notch sounds, acclaimed entertainers and refreshing cocktails. Taking place on Saturday, April 12 from 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Lummus Park, Ocean Drive & 11th Street, the outdoor dance party will feature acclaimed DJs Masterbeat Brett Henrichsen and DJ Deanne heating up the turntables. There is no cover charge for the Beach Party and proceeds from the sale of beverages at the event will benefit Miami Beach Gay Pride.

This celebration will combine the best elements of Miami Beach: sun, surf, sand, international DJs and, of course, thirst-quenching cocktails. Revelers will be able to enjoy the sounds of hometown favorite DJ Deanne followed by DJ Brett Henrichsen, who will be responsible for taking the partiers through a dancing extravaganza to the rhythm of his internationally renowned "Masterbeat" sounds: high energy, vocal and progressive dance.

"Pride has become synonymous with fun and inclusion in South Florida, and this year's edition will take that concept to the next level," said Joel Stedman, Chairman of the Board for Miami Beach Gay Pride. "Having world-renowned DJs like Brett Henrichsen and Deanne entertaining the crowd is a true privilege and I'm sure our fans will remember Pride 2014."

Henrichsen landed appearances at several major circuit parties in the United States including Gay Days Orlando, New York Pride Pier Dance, San Diego Zoo Party, White Party Palm Springs, Winter Party Festival, White Party Miami, and Masterbeat New Year's Los Angeles. One of the few U.S. circuit DJs to crossover to the international mainstream, Henrichsen routinely plays abroad in Amsterdam, Ibiza, London, Paris, Sydney, Sao Paulo and Rio.

After over a decade of pleasing enthusiastic clubbers, Deanne is more passionate than ever about bringing the party to life and her music to the masses. With influences such as Peter Rauhofer, Ralphi Rosario, Roger Sanchez, Robbie Rivera, Mark Knight, Erick Morillo and Chus & Ceballos, Deanne's style is defined by the spirit and energy of house music. Her continual evolution of sound provides infectious rhythms to intimate, sexy spaces or big, booming rooms through her signature combinations of big beats, strong synths, dramatic arrangements and a soulful sprinkling of vocals. Vocal, progressive, tech and electrical beats and rhythms are combined to take her listeners on a unique journey that is marked with emotion, sensuality, undeniable energy, and a palpable "dance floor drama."

Since its inception six years ago, Miami Beach Gay Pride has grown from a neighborhood event to an event on the global stage with A-list performers. Attendance has grown as well. An estimated 15,000 spectators turned out for the first Pride parade in 2009 and an estimated 80,000 attended the 2013 event which attracted not only South Floridians, but also visitors from throughout the world. In addition to Parade spectators, this April's event will include more than 60 parade entries and 1,200 participants. The Pride Festival which follows will feature 125 LGBT-friendly vendors and businesses, plus refreshments, three stages of entertainment, a family-friendly play area and fireworks.

The mission of Miami Beach Gay Pride is to bring together members and allies of the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender community in celebration of the unique spirit and culture of the LGBT community. The all-volunteer Pride board produces safe, quality, mass-appeal events that are open to the entire community, including the Parade, Festival and allied Miami Beach Gay Pride sanctioned events. Miami Beach Gay Pride is produced with the support of the Miami Beach Visitors and Convention Authority. For more information, visit .
