Video:: Shirtless Michael Sam Has All The Right Moves

Anyone hoping to catch new out NFL hopeful Michael Sam shirtless on the beaches of Fort Lauderdale, Provincetown or Fire Island needn't buy a plane ticket or even wait until beach season. A video shot several months ago has surfaced on TMZ, showing the defensive lineman topless on a dance floor at a popular gay club in Columbia, Mo.

According to TMZ , the video was shot last October - a few months after the All-American came out to his team mates at SoCo, a popular gay club in downtown Columbia, Mo.

In the video, a shirtless Sam partners and grinds with several women patrons on the dance floor while Michael Jackson's "Rock With You" plays. A neon rainbow Bud Light sign is visible in the background.

Sam dominated sports news, even eclipsing reports from Sochi, on Sunday when he came out during an interview with ESPN. An All-American defensive lineman for the University of Missouri, it has been largely speculated for months that he would be a first round NFL draft pick. If drafted, Sam will make history as the first openly gay player in the NFL.

Sports Illustrated reports that the revelation in the ESPN interview of Sam being gay was anything but news to patrons of SoCo, where Sam is a regular. As a local sports celebrity, most patrons of SoCo knew the day would come. They considered it his business.

"It wasn't our story to tell." said SoCo proprietor Marty Newman, who opened the alternative club in 1999 as a space for everybody, gay and straight alike.
