Anti-Gay Pastor Delivers 'God's State of the Union Address': Less Than 1,000 Care

A conservative pastor of the U.S.A. Christian Ministries responded to President Barack Obama's State of the Union address Tuesday night with his own version of the speech, called "God's State of the Union: Restoring God's Blessings," where he claims Obama is supporting "homosexual sin," the Raw Story reports.

In his speech, which has a surprisingly gentle tone for "hell and brimstone" rhetoric, Pastor Steven Andrew said that Americans must worship God and not false idols if they want his blessing and if they want to see the nation prosper. He also said Obama is in cahoots with the devil.

"We want to seek God with all of our heart and soul," Andrew continued with a series of sibilant s's, saying: "We want to obey the Holy Bible with all of our heart and soul, and we want Jesus as our king. This is how you restore God's blessings. People like Barack Obama have a totally different vision of America. His vision is to follow Satan."

He added that it's clear Obama is following Satan because he backs "homosexual sin" and violating God's rights "by forcing people to have death panels." He said Obama is a liar and not a part of the "Kingdom of God."

"Americans right now are suffering," Andrew said. "There is great economic problems in the United States of America. We have the biggest debt in the world. How is this going to go away? This debt is going to go away by humbling ourselves before the Lord and not by serving Mammon but by putting Jesus Christ first."

Andrew said that the government should be serving God since "all of our Founding Fathers used the words that are found in the King James Bible. Liberty means this law of love, where as a Christian I'm not going to force you to do something against your conscience."

"And you have the right to the pursuit of happiness," the pastor continued. "This is what it means to be an American: You can serve God how God wants you to serve him according to the Bible. You can prosper, you can make money, you can have your own business, you own your land."
