It's only been a few days since British Olympic diver Tom Daley revealed that he is in a happy relationship with an unnamed man but reports are surfacing, alleging that the athlete's new boyfriend is "Milk" screenwriter Dustin Lance Black.

According to the British newspaper the Independent, several sources claim that Daley, 19, is dating 39-year-old Oscar-winning screenwriter and LGBT activist, Black. In October, Queerty reported the two men were hanging out together and grabbing coffee.

Another source told the U.K. tabloid the Sun, "He's besotted with Dustin. They love each other and aren't concerned what anyone says about age difference. Dustin is very proud of Tom for making such a powerful statement about his sexuality. They are officially in a long term relationship and are talking about having a future together."

The Independent sites another source that told the British tabloids the men were introduced at the Soho hotel in London this summer and that Black, who won an Academy Award in 2008 for Best Original Screenplay for "Milk," a biopic about Harvey Milk, has been flying between Los Angeles and London to see Daley.

Sources also told E! Daley and Black are in a relationship.

Daley made international headlines this week when he released a YouTube video, announcing that he is currently in a relationship with a man.

"Come spring of this year my life changed, massively, when I met someone and it made me feel so happy, so safe, and everything just feels great, and well, that someone is a guy," Daley said in the video, which was uploaded Monday. "And it did take me by surprise a little bit. It was always in the back of my head that something like that could happen, but it wasn't until spring this year that something that just clicked, it felt right, and I was like, OK.

"And like I said, my whole world just changed right there and then," he continued. "Of course I still fancy girls, but right now I'm dating a guy and I couldn't be happier. I just feel safe. And it just really does feel right."
