Lady Gaga Shares 'Venus' Snippet

As promised, Lady Gaga posted a snippet of her "ARTOPOP" track "Venus."
The pop star initially intended "Venus" to be the second official single off her highly anticipated third studio album, but changed her mind after releasing "Do What U Want," featuring R&B icon R. Kelly, on Monday. The song climbed the iTunes charts, causing Gaga and her team to upgrade the "Do What U Want" to an official single, downgrading "Venus" to a promo track.
Mother Monster also shared three different album art covers for "Venus," which were created by Steven Klein, who directed the music videos for "Alejandro" and "Fame." Gaga and DJ White Shadow, who worked on "Applause" and "Do What U Want," wrote the song and Gaga produced the track.
The music video for "Venus" is currently in the works and will be directed by filmmaker Ruth Hogben, who worked with the singer on interludes for the Monster Ball Tour and photographed her for the October 2013 issue of Elle magazine.
The full "Venus" track will be available for download on Monday, Oct. 28. "ARTPOP" is out Nov. 6.
