Hang Out With Lily Tomlin in Ptown on Wednesday

On the night before her appearance at the Cape Cod Melody Tent, gay icon Lily Tomlin is headed to Provincetown to greet her fans.
Tomlin will be appearing Poolside at The Crown and Anchor at 9pm, Wednesday, July 24, 2013.
The Crown is located at 247 Commercial St., Provincetown, MA
Both event are sponsored by ProvincetownForWomen.com, in association with Tomlin. The show is at 7:30pm, at the Cape Cod Melody Tent in Hyannis.

Tomlin's Provincetown appearance offers a rare chance to party with one of the world's favorite performers.
"We are thrilled to welcome legend Lily Tomlin back to P-Ttown on July 24," said host Lynette Molnar of ProvincetownForWomen.com. "Everyone loves Lily - especially Ptown! This is a rare chance for fans to be with her at a party."

Tomlin - with her partner, writer Jane Wagner - has been a major force in American comedy since the late 1960s when she began her career that's spanned television, comedy recordings, Broadway and motion pictures. She has enjoyed acclaimed success in each medium, winning six Emmy� Awards and two Tony� awards and a Grammy� Award for her astounding body of work that includes the landmark comedy series Laugh-In.
She's renowned for her one-woman performance in Jane Wagner's "The Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe" as well as movies that include Robert Altman's "Nashville" (Academy Award nomination,) Woody Allen's "Shadows and Fog," "9 to 5" with Dolly Parton, "I Heart Huckabees" and many more. Her memorable television roles include "Murphy Brown," "Will and Grace" and "The West Wing."
She was recently nominated for an Emmy for her guest starring in the acclaimed FX series, "Damages." Last year, Tomlin co-starred with Reba McEntire on the ABC series, "Malibu Country," and now can be seen on the Showtime series, "Web Therapy," as Lisa Kudrow's mother.
