Bill O'Reilly is NOT Happy About SCOTUS' DOMA/Prop 8 Ruling

Conservative pundit Bill O'Reilly dropped by CBS This Morning this week and explained why he is upset over the Supreme Court's groundbreaking rulings on the Defense of Marriage Act and Proposition 8.

O'Reilly gave a confusing answer after host Charlie Rose asked him his thoughts on the high court's decision. The Fox News commentator said, "the fact (is) that gay people want to be treated the same way as everybody else;" but said he was "outraged" that the Justices were able to find a "loophole" after California voters approved a measure that banned gay marriage in the state.

"I would like the states to decide what kind of society they want," O'Reilly said. "I don't buy into the fact that homosexuals have a constitutional right to marry; I don't believe that, because f that were true, then pluralists would, then Mormons could have more than one [spouse]."

Like many of O'Reilly's peers, he's never shied away from views on marriage equally. But when the Supreme Court was hearing arguments for and against DOMA and Prop 8, the pundit admitted that the court would probably rule in favor of gay America.

"The compelling argument is on the side of homosexuals," O'Reilly said. He summarized their argument, saying, "We're Americans, we just want to be treated like everybody else," while the right "hasn't been able to do anything but thump the Bible."
