Porn Employee Sues Over Injecting Models' Penises with Erectile Dysfunction Drug

An employee of a gay porn company has filed a lawsuit against the business after he says he was forced to inject performers with a drug used to treat erectile dysfunction, the San Francisco Chronicle reports.

Ronald Baker, a grip for the North Carolina-based Adult Entertainment Broadcast Network, is suing the company because he claims he suffered emotional distress and anxiety-induced health problems after he accidentally pricked his finger in January when he injected an actor's penis with TriMix -- a three-drug cocktail used to treat erectile dysfunction.

"Defendants require employees, who are not models and are not trained or certified in any manner to give injections, to inject controlled substances for erectile dysfunction using a hypodermic syringe into the model's penis," the complaint states, according to Courthouse News. "The model can then maintain an erection for multiple hours in duration, during which time substantial shooting of the film can take place at one time without lengthy breaks to ensure the actor maintains an erection."

Baker, who resides in San Francisco, said he was concerned about contracting HIV after the needle pierced him and soon contacted his bosses at AEBN but they told him they were not sure what to do, the lawsuit states. His attorney, Elisa Stewart, says that once Baker found out the performers did not have prescriptions for TriMix he refused to administer the drug and break California law.

"They are injecting a controlled substance into all these models without checking with a doctor if it's OK for that person to have that prescription medication, and they are using people on the set to give the shots," Stewart said. "You have to be a nurse in the state of California to give an injection."

Courthouse News also points out that Baker says none of the models were tested for HIV, sexually transmitted diseases or hepatitis. The employee also claims the company did not have any policies or protocols to deal with or prevent exposure to blood-borne pathogens.

"After months of refusing directions and pressure by his employer to inject models with TriMix, plaintiff followed the directions of his employer and injected TriMix into a model's penis. While replacing the cap on the syringe, the tip of the syringe pierced the cap and plaintiff's thumb," the complaint states.
After the incident, Baker tested negative for HIV and hepatitis C.

Baker's attorney says his paychecks and health benefits ended after he refused to administer the injections.

He is suing for wrongful termination, emotional distress and violations of labor and professional business codes.

The suit names the defendants as Falcon Studios & Raging Stallion Studios, Data Tech Ventures LLC, and Datatech Enterprise LLC.
