Pam Ann...Live from the Cockpit at XL!

JC Alvarez READ TIME: 2 MIN.

Flying first class has never been so sweet...but truly - choosing to fly coach on comic air-stewardess Pam Ann's next scheduled flight is just asking for trouble. Everyone's favorite flight attendant is taking control and bringing her comedy routine right into cockpit. But let's be clear about one thing...not a single airline in its right mind would put Pam Ann in the pilot seat, so she'll be more appropriately providing the in-flight experience from the terminal at the XL Cabaret stage at The OUT NYC Urban Resort.

"I don't know why it's never occurred to me before," the airhostess admits the title of her latest show tour from the "Cockpit" couldn't be more appropriate. "I suppose I had to work myself up and into the cockpit." Having just disembarked from a short tour abroad, "I've just come off a three-week run in London," the mile-high maven is bringing her show to a new dimension at the XL Cabaret. "This feels like it will be technically amazing," Pam Ann imagines taking full advantage of the space's ultra-modern and aerodynamic styling. It's first class all the way!

As for material - "I'm such a plane geek!" - the comedian is never at a shortage. Just look at the headlines! "Virgin Atlantic is training its crew to whisper," she reveals. The luxury airline is often a target of her sharp wit. "It just goes to show that everything that I say about the brand is true - they're dumb but oh-so fuckable." Not that our stateside airlines are escaping her notice; "I also want to tap into that whole Jet Blue meltdown. They're all going crazy and I just love it!" It's true...the possibilities are endless.

For four nights Pam Ann will be taking passengers on a flight of fancy that Madonna, the Queen of Pop herself has called "Cruelly funny," but Pam Ann's charm is undeniable and she is a favorite among all her fans...whether you're popping some MDNA or not.

"And who knows, perhaps we'll have another Miracle on the Hudson." She quickly pauses for a moment, a flash of inspiration dancing across her blue-green eyes, having just remembered that the Space Shuttle Enterprise, which is now safely settled on its new home on the Intrepid aircraft carrier is a local attraction. "Oh my God. It could have slid off!" And that would have been the punch line for her next first class excursion!

Pam Ann's "Cockpit" Tour is now accommodating first class seating (and everyone else) for four nights of turbulent hilarity at the XL Cabaret beginning Friday, Sept 21st & Saturday, Sept 22 and also Friday, Sept 28th & Saturday, Sept 29th. Boarding is set for 7pm with takeoff at 8pm. Tickets are $30 (with discounts for card carrying XL regulars). For reservations go to www.xlcabaret.com.

To keep up with Pam Ann's wildly entertaining itinerary and see when she'll be stopping into a terminal near you, go to www.pamann.com - she'll be launching her new website soon.
