Come Out with Pride Orlando 2017 Schedule of Events

Come Out With Pride is pleased to announce its official schedule of events for this year's Pride festival. Now in its 13th year, Come Out With Pride is expected to attract 150,000 visitors and generate an economic impact of more than $11 million for the City of Orlando.

An exciting schedule of events and entertainment lineup supports this year's theme, #KeepDancingOrlando. Highlights include:


Thursday, October 12

Pride Launch Party
The annual Launch Party will kick off Pride weekend in beautiful Downtown Orlando. In conjunction with the Thornton Park District's 2nd Thursday Wine & Art Walk, the event will feature a variety of performers and special guests including Trinity "The Tuck" Taylor, a Season 9 contestant on the Emmy-award winning television show RuPaul's Drag Race on VH1.

Friday, October 13

Pride on Church Street
The Pride on Church Street Block Party presented by Hamburger Mary's will make its return to the heart of Downtown Orlando's Church Street District. Chad and Jill from 101.9 AMP Radio will host this free event and special guest DJ Ultra Naté is scheduled to perform.

Time: 8-11:30 p.m.


Saturday, October 14

Big Gay Brunch
The Big Gay Brunch presented by the Orlando Immunology Center will start the day with an amazing brunch spread, bottomless mimosas, a Bloody Mary bar and live performances from local entertainers.

Location: The Abbey, 100 S. Eola Dr., #100, Orlando, FL 32801
Time: 12-3 p.m.


#KeepDancingOrlando Zone
Last year, Come Out With Pride called on the community to come together and honor the lives that were taken at Pulse Nightclub. This year, we will continue to honor their memory with the #KeepDancingOrlando Zone. Guests can enjoy a friendly party atmosphere with music and dancing throughout the day. Entrance into the #KeepDancingOrlando Zone will be free from 12-5 p.m., then $7 admission from 6-11p.m.

Location: Lake Eola Park, entrance on E. Central Blvd.
Time: 12-11p.m.


SponsorWalk & Pride Marketplace
The SponsorWalk and Pride Marketplace presented by Marriott International will showcase businesses and organizations committed to diversity. Pride Takes Action, an initiative designed to connect festival-goers with advocacy groups, will be back this year to join the vendor lineup. In addition, the Marketplace Stage presented by Penguin by Munsingwear will host local entertainment acts throughout the day.

Time 12-7 p.m.


The Most Colorful Parade & Festival
The Most Colorful Parade presented by SunTrust is the most eagerly anticipated event of this year's festival and will feature more than 130 groups spanning a 1-mile route through Downtown Orlando. Leading the way this year is Community Grand Marshal Rebecca Storozuk, Orange County's first transgender sheriff's deputy. Other parade participants include Orange County Mayor Teresa Jacobs, City of Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and Orlando City District 4 Commissioner Patty Sheehan.

Following the parade, live music and entertainment will be scheduled on the Pride Main Stage presented by Nissan with a headline performance from platinum-award winning singer-songwriter JoJo.

Location: Lake Eola Park
Time: Parade from 4-6 p.m.; Rally at 6:15 p.m.; Entertainment at 7 p.m.


Pride Fireworks Show
The night will conclude with a signature fireworks finale on the lake. This will mark the official close of Come Out With Pride 2017.

Come Out With Pride, Inc. is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization inspired to make an impact in Orlando's LGBTQ+ community. Celebrated in October, Come Out With Pride welcomes everyone from Central Florida and beyond to come together and celebrate diverse communities. Come Out With Pride is also dedicated to supporting the community through grants and scholarships via its 'Pride Gives Back' program. Upon entry festival attendees will be invited to give a $5 suggested donation which will fund future Come Out With Pride events and our Pride Gives Back initiative.
