After Suspending Gay Porn Star Topher DiMaggio, Underwear Company Says It's 'Still Investigating' Sexual Misconduct Claims

Wednesday Mar 14, 2018

After suspending gay porn star Topher DiMaggio in the wake of sexual assault allegations from five men, underwear company Andrew Christian, where the performer served as a model, released an episode of a web series featuring DiMaggio, explaining on Twitter that the show was filmed last year and the company is "still investigating the alleged claims."

In February, Andrew Christian tweeted DiMaggio "is on indefinite suspension while we look into the matter" following the sexual assault claims.

After removing him from its website, Queerty pointed out DiMaggio is featured in a new episode of Andrew Christian's web series "Model Behavior" in an episode called "Model Meltdown with Michael Silas," which was shared on YouTube Tuesday. The company calls "Model Behavior" a "new reality web series showing the behind-the-scenes drama of a real-life underwear company."

Andrew Christian took to Twitter Tuesday, explaining the episode was filmed in May 2017 "long before any allegations of inappropriate behavior were made against Topher."

"We aired the episode because it was shot last year and Topher is an important part of the storyline in this episode and our fans like to see the real behind-the-scenes workings of an Andrew Christian photoshoot," the tweet reads.

The company added that it is "still investigating the alleged claims against Topher but to date, we are not aware of any criminal or legal claims of any kind that have been filed against him by any of his alleged accusers."

Five men have spoken out and alleged DiMaggio of sexual assault. The first to do so was gay porn actor Tegan Zayne, who told his story on Twitter in January, writing that the alleged incident happened before the two shot a scene together two years ago. YouTube personality Bryan Hawn also accused DiMaggio of assault. The other men to accuse the performer remain anonymous.

After Andrew Christian said DiMaggio was "on indefinite suspension," a link to his profile on the company's website was made inactive.

DiMaggio denied Zayne's allegations shortly after he shared his story on Twitter. Although DiMaggio said he strongly denies the allegations made by some of the other men, he has since deleted those tweets. DiMaggio has not addressed the other allegations.
