After Sexual Assault Accusations, Underwear Company Andrew Christian Suspends Gay Porn Star Topher DiMaggio

Thursday Feb 8, 2018

After five men came forward to accuse gay porn star Topher DiMaggio of various degrees of sexual assault, the underwear company Andrew Christian, where he works as a model, said it has suspended him.

The founder of the company, Andrew Christian, took to his personal Twitter account to address DiMaggio and the allegations against him, which includes rape.

"Andrew Christian does not condone sexual abuse or any other type of abuse or mistreatment to members of our community. We are taking allegations made by the victims very seriously," he tweeted. "Accordingly, Topher is on indefinite suspension while we look into the matter...

"...Late last year Andrew Christian started Project LOVE to help support various worthy charities in the LGBTQ community," Christian added. "Andrew Christian is committed to creating a safe welcoming environment for our LGBTQ family."

Christian's response came after five men spoke out and alleged DiMaggio of sexual assault. The first to do so was gay porn actor Tegan Zayne, who told his story on Twitter last month, writing that the alleged incident happened before the two shot a scene together two years ago.

Just this week, YouTube personality Bryan Hawn told Instinct DiMaggio also assaulted him. The other men who accused DiMaggio have remained anonymous. The fifth man to accuse him spoke with gay porn news website Str8UpGayPorn (extremely NSFW) this week and said the alleged incident took place at a Pride event in Seattle in 2014. The event was hosted by DiMaggio and sponsored by Andrew Christian.

Str8UpGayPorn pointed out in that interview that Andrew Christian had yet to comment on the allegations against DiMaggio, who modeled for the company and was featured on its website. The site also noted two of the alleged sexual assault incidents took place at events sponsored by the company.

A rep for Andrew Christian also gave a statement directly to Str8UpGayPorn (again, NSFW), saying, "We are taking this issue VERY seriously and Topher is on indefinite suspension while we look into the matter."

A link to DiMaggio's profile on Andrew Christian's website no longer works.

DiMaggio denied Zayne's allegations shortly after Zayne shared his story on Twitter. Although DiMaggio said he strongly denies the allegations made by some of the other men, he has since deleted those tweets. DiMaggio has yet to address the allegations made earlier this week.
